Why choose Battery As a service?
Can I get out of the contract and keep the batteries?
Yes, you have the option to purchase the remaining value of the batteries and take full ownership after the provisional period. This allows you to keep the batteries and continue benefiting from their energy savings without being tied to a lease. We provide full support to guide you through the buyout process if that is your preferred option.
What if I want to exit the contract but don’t want the batteries?
Posh Energy offers a flexible opt-out option.
What happens after the 10-year contract?
At the end of the 10-year contract, you can either extend the lease for an additional 5 years, purchase the batteries at a reduced cost, or have the batteries removed at no charge.
Is there any risk of additional costs during the lease?
No, the Posh Energy leasing program is designed to eliminate financial risk. Your lease payments are covered entirely by your guaranteed energy savings.
What if I don’t achieve the expected savings?
Posh Energy guarantees a specific level of energy savings. If you do not achieve the guaranteed amount, we will reimburse you the difference between the expected and actual savings, ensuring that your energy costs stay in line with what was promised.
